Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles is a 1994 horror film directed by Neil Jordan and adapted from Anne Rice's 1976 novel of the same name. The film follows the story of Louis de Pointe du Lac, a vampire who tells his 200-year-long life story to a San Francisco reporter. The film follows Louis through various stages of his life as a vampire, including his transformation into a vampire by Lestat, his search for meaning and purpose in his immortal life, and his interactions with other vampires and mortals. The film also stars Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, and Antonio Banderas and features Christian Slater, Kirsten Dunst, Stephen Rea, and Domiziana Giordano. The film received generally favorable reviews and was nominated for two Academy Awards.
