Jaws is a 1975 American thriller film directed by Steven Spielberg and based on Peter Benchley's novel of the same name. The film stars Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw, and Richard Dreyfuss as the three leads. The story follows a great white shark that preys upon the small beach resort of Amity Island. Police Chief Martin Brody (Scheider) and marine biologist Matt Hooper (Dreyfuss) join forces with grizzled shark hunter Quint (Shaw) to try to destroy the threat before it devours more victims. The film was an instant box office success and is widely considered to be one of the greatest films ever made, and helped to start the modern Hollywood summer blockbuster phenomenon. The film also won three Academy Awards and received critical acclaim for its performances, Spielberg's direction, John Williams' musical score, and its thrilling action sequences.

"The Birds" is a classic psychological thriller directed by Alfred Hitchcock. It tells the story of Melanie Daniels, a young socialite who goes to Bodega Bay, California to deliver a pair of lovebirds to her new beau, Mitch Brenner. Upon arriving, she finds a small town full of strange and hostile birds. As the days pass, the bird attacks become more and more intense, threatening the lives of the townspeople. The residents must now fight for their lives against the mysterious force that has taken over the town. The tension builds to a shocking climax as the residents make a desperate attempt to fight back against the relentless bird attacks.
