Rosemary's Baby is a 1968 horror film directed by Roman Polanski. The film follows Rosemary Woodhouse (Mia Farrow) and her husband, Guy (John Cassavetes), as they move into a new apartment building in New York City. Their apartment is inhabited by an elderly couple, Minnie and Roman Castavet (Ruth Gordon and Sidney Blackmer). Rosemary and Guy soon become friends with the Castavets, though they soon discover that the elder couple are part of a Satanic cult that has set its sights on Rosemary's unborn child. The film follows Rosemary as she attempts to protect her child from the sinister and powerful cult and the evil forces behind them. Filled with suspense, dread, and psychological horror, Rosemary's Baby shines a light on the occult and the power behind it.

The Devils is a 1971 British historical drama film directed by Ken Russell and adapted from the non-fiction book The Devils of Loudun by Aldous Huxley. The film stars Oliver Reed as Grandier and Vanessa Redgrave as the hunchbacked nun who is obsessed with him. The film is a provocative account of religious fanaticism, sexual repression and mass hysteria, presented in a surreal and often hallucinogenic style.
