An American Werewolf in London is a 1981 horror comedy film directed by John Landis. The film follows two American college students, David and Jack, who are on a backpacking trip through Britain. On a dark and stormy night, the pair is attacked by a werewolf while camping in the British countryside. Jack is killed while David is left scarred, both mentally and physically. David soon discovers that the werewolf bite has cursed him with the same supernatural affliction and is now forced to fight against his own inner demonic nature. As David struggles to maintain his sanity and humanity, he must also confront a growing army of the undead, including his best friend Jack, in a desperate attempt to save himself and his love interest, Alex, from becoming werewolves themselves. The film combines humor, horror, and romance to create a unique and thrilling experience.
