Along the way, they encounter a host of characters that come to assist them in their quest, and teach Wall·E what it truly means to be human.

When Freder discovers the horrifying perilous conditions of the workers in the city's underground level, he decides to take action and join forces with Maria in order to save the people from the oppressive leader. With the help of a mad scientist, the two come up with a plan that ultimately leads to a revolution of the working class. In the end, justice is restored to the city and the classes are united.
