I Saw the Devil is a 2010 South Korean psychological horror-thriller film directed by Jee-woon Kim. The plot follows a secret agent, Kim Soo-hyeon (Byung-hun Lee), whose fiancée is brutally murdered by a psychopathic serial killer, Kyung-chul (Min-sik Choi). Driven by his desire for revenge, Kim decides to hunt down the murderer and exact his own form of justice. Along the way, he is forced to confront Kyung-chul in a violent and psychological battle of wits as he attempts to discover the killer's true identity. The film is a twisted and thrilling journey of revenge that has shocks and surprises at every turn.
