Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles is a 1994 horror drama film directed by Neil Jordan. It's based on Anne Rice's 1976 novel of the same name, and stars Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt. The film follows the story of Louis de Pointe du Lac, a French plantation owner in Louisiana who, after losing his family in a deathly plague, is approached by the vampire Lestat who turns him into a vampire. As the two of them travel together, Louis experiences an emotional journey as he struggles to come to terms with his new existence.
