The film follows the Israeli government's response to the attack, which was to send a team of assassins, referred to as "The Mossad", to track down and eliminate those responsible. The team, led by Avner Kauffman, is forced to grapple not only with the mission itself, but with the psychological consequences of their actions. As the film progresses, Avner and his team become increasingly conflicted about their mission, leading to an emotionally charged climax. Munich is a powerful story of revenge, justice, morality, and the price of violence.
