Alien is a 1979 science fiction horror film directed by Ridley Scott and written by Dan O'Bannon. Set in 2122, the story follows the crew of the commercial space tug Nostromo who, while responding to a distress call from an unexplored planet, discover a deadly alien creature that begins to hunt them one by one. The crew is forced to confront the creature in a desperate attempt to survive. The film stars Sigourney Weaver in her breakout role as Ellen Ripley, alongside Tom Skerritt, Veronica Cartwright, Harry Dean Stanton, John Hurt, Ian Holm and Yaphet Kotto. Alien combines elements of horror and action-adventure, particularly in its set pieces and creature design. It has since become a classic and is widely regarded as one of the greatest films of all time.

With their lives in danger, the team must battle the powerful Predator and try to survive the jungle. This classic film, which spawned a franchise, is packed with action and suspense and features an iconic performance from Arnold Schwarzenegger.
