The film follows the band over the course of a day, as they travel to a television performance, avoid their fans, rehearse, and perform their songs. Along the way, they cope with their manager's various schemes, an eccentric grandfather, and a comical constable, who tries to arrest them. The film features several of The Beatles' most popular songs, including the title track, and was a major box office success. A Hard Day's Night has since been recognized as one of the greatest films of all time, and an important influence on the development of musical films.

The Producers (1967) is a comedy classic directed by Mel Brooks. It tells the story of two down-on-their-luck Broadway producers, Max Bialystock (Zero Mostel) and Leo Bloom (Gene Wilder). Max and Leo hatch a plan to make a fortune by producing the worst musical ever: Springtime for Hitler. The plan is to oversell shares in the production, put on a terrible show, and then close it before anyone realizes it was awful. However, their plan backfires when the audience loves it and the show becomes a hit. With their scheme exposed, Max and Leo must scramble to save themselves from legal trouble and try to turn their luck around. The Producers is a hilarious film full of sharp wit, outrageous jokes, and absurd premises, and is considered to be one of Brooks' best and most memorable comedies.
