Jaws is an American classic horror-thriller film directed by Steven Spielberg in 1975. Based on Peter Benchley's novel of the same name, the film follows the story of a great white shark terrorizing the fictional New England resort town of Amity Island. The police chief, Martin Brody (played by Roy Scheider) is tasked with finding and killing the shark, with the help of a marine biologist, Matt Hooper (played by Richard Dreyfuss), and a professional shark hunter, Quint (played by Robert Shaw). As the shark continues to wreak havoc on the island, the three men must band together to take it down and restore peace to Amity Island. A thrilling and terrifying adventure, Jaws is considered one of the greatest films of all time.

When three con men come looking for a mysterious doll that her husband unknowingly smuggled, Susy finds herself in a deadly game of cat and mouse, as she tries to protect her home and her life. Despite her disability, Susy is able to outwit her dangerous enemies, using her wits and what little sight she has in a tense game of bluff and deceit. With the help of her resourceful neighbor, Sam (Arkin), Susy's courage and determination prove to be her greatest assets in the thrilling climax.

It follows Grace Stewart (Kidman) and her two children, Anne and Nicholas, who are living in a secluded English manor house on the island of Jersey during World War II. After Anne and Nicholas claim their house is haunted, Grace is forced to confront the secrets of her home and unravel the truth behind the hauntings. As the story unravels, it is revealed that the family are in fact ghosts, and the "others" in the title refers to the living people in the house, who are unaware they are sharing it with spirits. In the end, Grace and her family are able to pass on to the afterlife, allowing the living to continue living in peace.

With the help of schoolteacher Annie Hayworth (Suzanne Pleshette) and a local scientist (Ethel Griffies), they must find a way to survive the onslaught of the birds before it's too late.

As they grapple with their new reality, the family must find ways to survive without making any noise that would attract the creatures. They must also protect their youngest child from the danger that surrounds them. In the end, the family is able to survive while also learning valuable lessons about the importance of family, communication, and love.
