28 Days Later... is a 2002 British post-apocalyptic horror film directed by Danny Boyle and written by Alex Garland. The film follows a group of survivors as they struggle to survive in a world devastated by a deadly virus that has caused most of the population to become violent and zombie-like. The virus was unleashed by a group of animal rights activists who released a group of infected chimpanzees from a laboratory. The group of survivors, led by Jim (Cillian Murphy), a bicycle courier who wakes up from a coma, and Selena (Naomie Harris), a scavenger, must find a way to survive the infected and search for a safe haven. Along the way, they encounter other survivors, including a father and daughter, Frank and Hannah (Noah Huntley and Megan Burns), who become important allies. The group eventually makes it to London, where a group of military personnel is trying to establish a safe zone. But they quickly discover that not all is as it seems, as the virus has evolved and become even more dangerous. The group must race against time to find a cure and save humanity.
