Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi is the third and final installment in the original Star Wars trilogy. In this film, the Rebel Alliance continues its fight against the Galactic Empire, as Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher), and Han Solo (Harrison Ford) team up with the Ewoks to battle Darth Vader (David Prowse) and the forces of the Empire on the forest moon of Endor. Meanwhile, Luke confronts his father, the Emperor (Ian McDiarmid), in a final climactic showdown. In the end, the Rebel Alliance is victorious, and the Emperor is destroyed. Luke is able to bring his father, Anakin Skywalker (Sebastian Shaw), back to the light side, setting off a chain of events that will bring balance to the Galaxy.
