Pulp Fiction is a 1994 American crime comedy-drama film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. It stars John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson, Uma Thurman, Tim Roth, Amanda Plummer, and Bruce Willis. The film follows the lives of two mob hitmen, a boxer, a gangster's wife, and a pair of diner bandits as their stories intertwine in four tales of violence and redemption. It interweaves several different storylines, including a path of redemption for one of the hitmen, and a robbery gone wrong. The film's nonlinear storyline and narration, as well as its mix of irony, humor, and violence, have made it highly influential. It was a major box office success, becoming the highest-grossing film of 1994 and eventually grossing over $214 million worldwide. It was nominated for seven Oscars, including Best Picture, and won the Palme d'Or at the 1994 Cannes Film Festival. It has since become a classic film in the crime genre and is widely considered to be one of Tarantino's best films.

The film stars Jean Reno as the title character, a professional hitman who reluctantly takes in Mathilda, a 12-year-old girl (played by Natalie Portman), after her family is murdered by corrupt DEA agents. Mathilda, who is seeking revenge, eventually convinces Léon to teach her the ways of assassination to help her carry out her vengeance. The film follows their story as they attempt to outrun and outsmart the corrupt agents, while also forming a bond of friendship and trust between each other. Along their journey, they also come up against a rival hitman, played by Gary Oldman.

Anton Chigurh (Javier Bardem), a hired hitman, is sent to retrieve the money, and Moss must evade him in order to stay alive. Along the way, Sheriff Ed Tom Bell (Tommy Lee Jones) attempts to track down Chigurh, determined to bring him to justice. The film follows the three characters as they try to outwit one another, leading to a devastating conclusion with no clear victor.

The film follows two hitmen, Ray (Colin Farrell) and Ken (Brendan Gleeson), who are sent to the Belgian city of Bruges after a job gone wrong in London. While there, they find themselves struggling to find their place in the city, as Ray hates it and Ken loves it. As Ray attempts to get the two of them out of Bruges, Ken is visited by the boss of the two hitmen, Harry (Ralph Fiennes), who demands that Ray be killed as punishment for his mistake. In the end, Ken is forced to choose between loyalty and friendship, leading to a dramatic and unexpected conclusion.

The film features spectacular gun fights, intense action, and a theme of redemption and honor. The Killer showcases Woo's signature combination of violence, emotion, and balletic action sequences. The film won the Best Film Award at the 1990 Hong Kong Film Awards and is regarded as one of the best action movies of all time.

In order to do so, the Jackal must outwit a determined police inspector, played by Michael Lonsdale. The Jackal’s plans are complicated by the fact that he is being tracked by anonymous informant. The film follows the Jackal's meticulous preparation for the assassination, as well as the law enforcement's efforts to prevent it. The Day of the Jackal is noted for its suspenseful pacing, tight plot structure, and realistic portrayal of the criminal underworld. It was a critical and commercial success, and is considered a classic of the suspense genre.

"Fallen Angels" is a 1995 Hong Kong neo-noir crime film written, produced, and directed by Kar-Wai Wong. The film follows the intersecting lives of two people living in Hong Kong, a hitman and his assistant, and a young woman caught in a complicated love triangle. The story follows two separate stories: the hitman and his assistant and the woman caught in the middle. The hitman, Ming, is a detached, professional killer who is hired to carry out a series of murders. His assistant, Chu, is an aspiring entrepreneur who is hired to help carry out the hits. Meanwhile, the woman, Chan, is a lonely and disillusioned soul who is stuck in a complicated love triangle with her ex-boyfriend and her current lover. As the stories progress, viewers come to understand the characters' motivations and the emotional complexities that they are dealing with. In the end, the characters confront their feelings of loneliness, alienation and loss, and the film ultimately conveys a message of hope and redemption.

During the course of their mission, Max discovers the truth about Vincent's mission, and the two form an uneasy alliance. As their night progresses, the two must confront their own personal demons and face their moral dilemma, as well as the threats posed by the crime boss and his henchmen. Ultimately, Max and Vincent must decide whether to help each other survive or become collateral damage in the escalating war between crime and justice.
