The film follows the various characters as they cross paths and attempt to outwit each other in a violent game of cat and mouse. As the situation gets out of hand, Sheriff Bell begins to question if he is up to the challenge of tracking down the killer before he takes more lives. As the stakes rise and the conflict intensifies, the characters must face the consequences of their actions, with no easy answers.
