The Thing is a 1982 horror film directed by John Carpenter and starring Kurt Russell. The story follows a group of American researchers in Antarctica who are confronted with a deadly alien creature that has the ability to absorb and imitate other living creatures. The creature has infiltrated their research compound and is slowly killing them off one by one. The researchers have to figure out who is the creature and how to stop it before it destroys the entire camp. As the researchers struggle to survive, they soon realize that the creature is much more powerful than they ever imagined and that it has been manipulating them from the beginning. The Thing is a classic example of Carpenter's work, blending horror and science fiction in a thrilling and suspenseful way.

Train to Busan is a 2016 South Korean zombie horror film set on a train from Seoul to Busan during a zombie apocalypse. The story follows a workaholic father, Seok-woo, who is on the train with his daughter Soo-an. Unbeknownst to them, an infected passenger has boarded the train and quickly turns the other passengers into zombies. Seok-woo and Soo-an must survive the zombie attacks, while being aided by good Samaritans on the train, such as a elderly homeless man, a pregnant woman, and a high school baseball team. The father and daughter are forced to make difficult decisions in order to survive the zombie onslaught and reach Busan safely.
