It has become a cult classic and is widely considered one of the greatest science-fiction films of all time.

28 Days Later… is a 2002 British post-apocalyptic horror film directed by Danny Boyle. The film follows a group of four survivors in a post-apocalyptic world infected by a virus that causes extreme rage and violence in its victims. The virus is spread through blood and saliva, and quickly turns the entire country into a wasteland. Jim (Cillian Murphy), a bike messenger, wakes up from a coma to find himself alone in an abandoned hospital. He soon meets a few other survivors, including Selena (Naomie Harris), an immune woman, and Mark (Noah Huntley), an army veteran. Together they set out to try and find other survivors, while avoiding the infected. Along the way they team up with a father and daughter, Frank (Brendan Gleeson) and Hannah (Megan Burns). They struggle against the growing horde of infected, as well as the military, who have their own agenda. Eventually, they make it to a safe zone and discover that the virus has spread to other countries as well. The film ends with the group setting out on a new mission to find a cure.

With the help of the crow, Eric begins a violent rampage throughout the city, targeting drug dealers, crooked cops, and various criminals involved with his and Shelly's murder. Along the way, he is aided by Sarah (Ernie Hudson) and Albrecht (Michael Wincott), two police officers who recognize his mission for justice. As the body count rises, Eric's hunt for justice leads him to the head of a crime syndicate, Top Dollar (Michael Massee), and ultimately to a final showdown between himself and Top Dollar's henchmen.
