The film is a sequel to Cameron's 1984 film The Terminator, and stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, and Edward Furlong. The film follows Sarah Connor and her son John, as they protect themselves from a liquid metal assassin, sent from the future to kill John. This new Terminator, the T-1000, is sent to terminate John Connor's existence to prevent him from leading the human resistance against Skynet in the future. With the help of the reprogrammed T-800, the Connors must now race against time to prevent the rise of the machines from occurring.

The Great Escape is a 1963 American war film that is based on a true story about an escape by Allied prisoners of war from a German POW camp during World War II.
