Captain Fantastic is a 2016 American comedy-drama film written and directed by Matt Ross. The film stars Viggo Mortensen as Ben Cash, a father devoted to raising his six children in the forests of the Pacific Northwest. Ben is an alternate lifestyle advocate who has taught his children to reject consumerism and live off the land. After the death of their mother, the Cash family embarks on a journey from the wilderness of Washington state to the civilized American suburbs. Along the way, they must confront their own beliefs and reconcile their love of freedom and individuality with the realities of a larger world. With an all-star cast, Captain Fantastic is an uplifting and thought-provoking story about the importance of family and what it truly means to be free.

Beetlejuice is a 1988 American comedy fantasy film directed by Tim Burton and starring Michael Keaton as the titular character. The film follows the recently deceased couple, the Maitlands, who seek the help of a devious bio-exorcist Beetlejuice to rid their home of a family of insufferable new tenants. After the Maitlands' attempts to scare away the family prove unsuccessful, Beetlejuice steps in to help. With a combination of his outrageous antics and the Maitlands' ghostly tricks, the pair ultimately succeed in driving away the family. In the process, however, Beetlejuice exposes the dark and dangerous side of the afterlife.
