Finding Nemo is a 2003 animated adventure comedy film directed by Andrew Stanton and Lee Unkrich. The film follows the story of an overprotective clownfish named Marlin who, along with a regal tang named Dory, searches for his missing son, Nemo, all the way to Sydney Harbour. Along the way, Marlin and Dory encounter a host of memorable characters, including a nearsighted shark, a surfer-dude turtle, three vegetarian sharks, and a nearsighted whale. The film was a critical and commercial success, grossing over $940 million worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing animated feature film of all time. The film was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, won the BAFTA Award for Best Animated Film, and was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy.

Jaws is a 1975 American thriller film directed by Steven Spielberg based on Peter Benchley's 1974 novel of the same name. The film follows a small island community, led by police chief Martin Brody, as they attempt to protect beachgoers from a giant man-eating great white shark wreaking havoc in the waters. With the help of a professional shark hunter, Quint, and marine biologist Matt Hooper, the trio set out to hunt and kill the beast before it can cause any more destruction. The movie is considered the first “summer blockbuster” and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture. It spawned four sequels and is considered a classic of American cinema.
