Shaun of the Dead is a 2004 British horror comedy film directed by Edgar Wright, starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. The film follows Shaun (Pegg), a man who is forced to fight off a zombie outbreak in London while attempting to reunite with his girlfriend, Liz (Kate Ashfield). Along the way, Shaun is joined by his best friend, Ed (Frost), and his stepfather, Phillip (Bill Nighy). Together, they must battle the hordes of zombies while also struggling to survive in a world gone mad. Meanwhile, Shaun must also find a way to reconcile his relationship with Liz, who is struggling to understand his newfound zombie obsession. In the end, Shaun and his allies must fight off a final zombie invasion in a thrilling climax that brings the film to a dramatic and satisfying conclusion.

As the transformation progresses, David must find a way to contain the beast within himself before it destroys everything he loves. As he struggles to maintain his humanity, David must also battle the spectre of his dead friend, who has come back to haunt him. In the end, David must find a way to break the ancient curse before it is too late.
