Trading Places is a comedy classic starring Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd. Directed by John Landis, the film tells the story of two wealthy brothers, Randolph and Mortimer Duke (Ralph Bellamy and Don Ameche) who have a bet going on to see if nature or nurture has more of an impact on success. They decide to switch the lives of their respective employees, Louis Winthorpe III (Aykroyd), a successful commodities broker, and Billy Ray Valentine (Murphy), a homeless street hustler. With the help of a prostitute (Jamie Lee Curtis), the two men embark on a hilarious journey as they try to switch back their lives and get revenge on the Duke brothers. Along the way they encounter a host of colorful characters and crazy plot twists. Funny, irreverent, and ultimately heartwarming, Trading Places is a classic comedy that still holds up to this day.
